Tesla has officially launched the Model Y in India as its first offering, priced at ₹59.89 lakh ex‑showroom for the Rear‑Wheel‑Drive (Standard) version, and ₹67.89 lakh for the Long‑Range RWD variant. The Standard Model Y delivers a WLTP‑rated range of around 500 km, while the Long‑Range trims it up to 622 km, both with a top speed of 201 km/h. Acceleration from 0‑100 km/h takes about 5.9 seconds (Standard) and 5.6 seconds (Long‑Range).The Model Y comes loaded with high‑end features: a large central touchscreen, heated & ventilated front seats, heated and folding rear seats, panoramic glass roof, 8‑inch rear‑row display, and ambient lighting. Tesla has opened its first showroom in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, with bookings open and deliveries due to start in Q3 2025 for the Standard version.
