MG Windsor Pro EV First Drive Review | Auto Live
The MG Windsor EV Pro builds on the standard Windsor with a bigger 52.9 kWh battery that lifts its claimed ARAI range to about 449 km, making it far more usable for inter‑city travel. The motor delivers 136 PS and 200 Nm via a front‑wheel drive setup, offering smooth and linear power delivery across four drive modes. Charging is quicker: DC fast charging up to 60 kW gets 20‑80% done in ≈ 50 minutes. The Pro also adds Level‑2 ADAS (adaptive cruise, lane‑keep assist etc.), a dual‑tone interior, new 18‑inch alloy wheels, new colour options and some premium touches like ventilated seats. Ride is comfortable though firmer than before to handle the heavier battery; highway composure is good though road and wind noise are still noticeable. Pricing starts around ₹17.5‑18.3 lakh ex‑showroom for the Pro version.
