Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced the Thruxton 400, expanding its 400cc lineup. Priced at ₹2.74 lakh (ex-showroom), this café racer draws inspiration from the Speed 1200 RR. It features a semi-fairing, clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, and a body-colored pillion seat cowl. The redesigned fuel tank offers a more slender profile with a centrally placed brushed aluminium filler cap. Powering the Thruxton 400 is a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 42 hp and 37.5 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Safety features include dual-channel ABS and traction control. The Thruxton 400 is the fifth model based on Triumph’s 400cc platform, joining the Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC, and Speed T4.
