The Nissan Tekton, set to launch mid‑2026, is Nissan’s bold entry into the C‑segment SUV category, built on the CMF‑B platform shared with the next‑gen Renault Duster.  It features design cues inspired by the Nissan Patrol — muscular bonnet, pronounced wheel arches, full‑width LED light bars, C‑shaped LED DRLs, and rugged cladding. Interiors are expected to be premium with layered materials, three‑tone dashboard trims, a large touchscreen, digital cluster, and safety features like six airbags. Powertrains include a 1.3‑litre turbo‑petrol, likely manual and automatic options; hybrid versions may arrive later. 

The Renault Duster (3rd gen) returns to India also by early‑2026, also using the CMF‑B underpinnings.  Globally, it’s offered with multiple powertrains — 1.0‑litre turbo, 1.2‑litre petrol hybrid, and even strong hybrid options; higher trims may get more power. Design is more rugged, with squared wheel arches, roof rails, modern Y‑shaped LED lamps, a sturdy stance. The Duster will compete in the same rivals league (Creta, Seltos, etc.) and is expected to offer good value in features vs price.
