Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot attacked the central government on Friday (October 27), referring to the ED. He said that the Chief Minister of a state has to say that there are more ED people roaming on the roads of the country than dogs. Ashok Gehlot said, "It is unfortunate that the Chief Minister of an election state has to say that ED is roaming more than dogs in this country. What could be a bigger misfortune than this for any country? I am angry that Congress kept the country united for 76 years. Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were martyred." You are removing the names of those who have sacrificed for the country from history, but this will not happen.'' Ashok Gehlot said this at a time when ED arrested Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara in Jaipur on Thursday (26 October). And raids were conducted on the premises of Sikar in the money laundering case related to the question paper leak case. Besides, Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot has been summoned in the foreign exchange violation case. Gehlot had also said on Thursday that BJP and the central government are using ED against opposition parties. In such a situation, BJP should also add the symbol of IT and ED to its symbol lotus. राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने ईडी का जिक्र करते हुए शुक्रवार (27 अक्टूबर) को केंद्र सरकार पर हमला किया. उन्होंने कहा कि एक राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री को यह कहना पड़ रहा है कि देश की सड़कों पर कुत्तों से ज्यादा ईडी वाले घूम रहे हैं. अशोक गहलोत ने कहा, ''ये दुर्भाग्य की बात है कि एक चुनावी राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री को कहना पड़े कि इस देश में ईडी कुत्तों से ज्यादा घूम रही है. इससे बड़ा दुर्भाग्य किसी देश के लिए क्या होगा? मुझे गुस्सा आता है कि कांग्रेस ने 76 साल से जिस देश को एक रखा. इंदिरा गांधी और राजीव गांधी शहीद हो गए.''उन्होंने आगे कहा, ''बांग्लादेश बना दिया. पाकिस्तान के दो टुकड़े कर दिए. ये लोग (बीजेपी) आज इंदिरा गांधी का नाम तक नहीं लेते. जिन्होंने देश के लिए त्याग किया हो आप इतिहास से उनका नाम हटा रहे हो, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं होगा.''अशोक गहलोत ने ये बात ऐसे समय बोली है जब ईडी ने गुरुवार (26 अक्टूबर) को ही राजस्थान कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा के जयपुर और सीकर के परिसरों पर प्रश्न पत्र लीक मामले से जुडे़ मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग केस में छापेमारी की. साथ ही गहलोत के बेटे को वैभव गहलोत को विदेशी मुद्रा उल्लंघन मामले में तलब किया है.गहलोत ने गुरुवार को भी कहा था कि बीजेपी और केंद्र सरकार ईडी का इस्तेमाल विपक्षी दलों के खिलाफ कर रही है. ऐसे में बीजेपी को अपने सिम्बल कमल में आईटी और ईडी (ED) का निशान भी जोड़ देना चाहिए.
