Isuzu D-Max Electric Walkaround video | Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 | Auto Live
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Isuzu unveiled its bold new initiative with the D-Max EV Concept, a fully electric version of its rugged pickup platform that retains the core work-horse DNA of the original while pointing the brand into the EV era. The pickup is based on a 66.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and uses dual motors for full-time 4×4 capability, delivering around 325 Nm of torque and a WLTP-rated range of 263 km.
Visually, it stands out with EV-specific details: a blanked grille with blue accents, reworked head-lamps, and a personalized identity that separates it from its diesel counterpart. Underneath the skin it preserves the rugged utility with a payload capacity of 1,000 kg and a towing capability of up to 3.5 tonnes — strong credentials for both commercial and lifestyle use. While the interior details remain largely concept-level, the design hints at premium touches, wireless connectivity and advanced driver assistance systems. The showpiece underscores that Isuzu is serious about electrifying even its toughest body styles. With no firm India launch timeline yet, it sets the stage for the next generation of electric pickups in the country
