BMW X1 LWB India review | Auto Live
The BMW X1 Long Wheelbase (LWB) is the German luxury brand’s first fully electric SUV locally produced in India, launched at ₹49 lakh ex-showroom. It comes with a 66.4 kWh battery and an electric motor delivering 204 hp and 250 Nm torque. Mid-segment range is claimed at 531 km (MIDC cycle). Charging from 10-80 % using a 130 kW DC fast charger takes about 29 minutes. In terms of design, the longer wheelbase (2,800 mm) adds appreciable rear legroom and comfort. Features are premium: panoramic sunroof, wide curved infotainment display, Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, reclining rear seats. On the downside, city ride can feel a bit firm over broken surfaces; some features like extended front seat adjustments or ventilated seats are missing.
