United States on Pulwama terrorist attack: The White House asked Pakistan to immediately end "support" and "safe haven" to all terror groups as it strongly condemned the Pulwama terrorist attack. "The United States calls on Pakistan to end immediately the support and safe haven provided to all terrorist groups operating on its soil, whose only goal is to sow chaos, violence, and terror in the region," White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a late night statement on Thursday. "This attack only strengthens our resolve to bolster counterterrorism cooperation and coordination between the United States and India," she said in a strongly-worded statement issued by the White House.

European Union on Pulwama attack: India has once again been victim of a terrorist attack today in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The bomb attack killed more than 40 persons among the Indian paramilitary forces. Terrorism can never be justified. The European Union expresses its deep sadness and condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to those who were injured. As a strategic partner of India, the EU reaffirms its full solidarity at such a difficult moment. The European Union stands by India in fighting terrorism and will continue to strengthen its cooperation in this regard.

Police identified the suicide bomber as Adil Ahmed, who officials said joined the Jaish in 2018. It is said that he was driving a vehicle packed with over 100 kg of explosives on the wrong side of the road and hit the bus, in which 39-44 personnel were travelling, head-on.
