Online Food से Ola-Uber तक: अब ऐसे Measure होगी आपकी महंगाई | Paisa Live

January 2026 से सरकार ने CPI यानी inflation measure करने का तरीका पूरी तरह बदल दिया है। Base year 2012 से shift होकर 2024 हो गया है और items की list 299 से बढ़कर 358 हो गई है। अब Online food orders, Ola-Uber rides, Netflix subscription और digital services भी CPI का हिस्सा होंगी। Food का weightage घटाकर housing और services को ज्यादा importance दी गई है। इससे interest rates, home loan EMI और Dearness Allowance का calculation ज्यादा realistic होगा। Headline inflation थोड़ी ज्यादा दिख सकती है, लेकिन यह real cost of living को better reflect करेगी।
